Huntswood Golf Club – Burnham, Buckinghamshire
Huntswood is a short but nice little course that now has 18 holes, it looks like it could get a little congested in the summer on the first tee but the round of golf was enjoyable. The teeing areas were fine for this time of year and the fairway’s did not have one boggy patch on them.
The areas around the greens of the new holes have had a lot of attention to make them very nice to play on, but the fairways need a little work at present, still a little too bumpy with rabbit holes all over the place.
Overall the greens were in great condition and certainly not flat, the clubhouse facilities were good as well, must give a special mention to some great showers and the fact that if you live within 5 miles of the course you can get a free courtesy car lift home.
