Perranporth Golf Club – Cornwall

Author: Perranporth was laid out by Open Champion James Braid and is quite simply one of the best links courses in Britain. In fact Senior Tour golfer Brian Waites is a regular visitor here and in his opinion this course is within the top 5 in Europe.
On arrival at the club we were informed that a Senior competition was about to start so if we were quick we could get off in front of them. As I stood on the first tee, after no warmup at all, you could here the low rumble of golf carts and morning chatter of the approaching seniors.
