The oldest course in Hertfordshire.Tree-lined fairway's nice tees & greens. Some nice par 3 holes and two very long par 4's (especially when the wind is against you) make this course quite a challenge.
Favourite Hole
Hole 9 & 18: We are divided on this one, Hole 9 is a short par 3 downhill. A single tree blocks the view of the front of the green. A row of bunkers are waiting for wayward shots to the right and behind, while a small stream runs across the front and left of the green. Hole 18 is a par 4 that drops down to a stream (that is reachable), then climbs up to a green that has a huge bunker guarding the front.

This is the best value in Herts,a real society course, condition has improved dramatically over the past few years and the bar staff are unsurpassed in their endeavours to serve, a real credit, try it soon.

Played this course twice and I have to say it is a really good test of your game whatever your handicap. You need to play it more than once to know where you need to be in terms of fairways or greens and it can really bite you if you are off line, I am looking forward to playing the course again and would put it in my top five.
