Course Review

Very picturesque course on the side of a hill in the Misbourne Valley.
Ups & Downs
The course had a couple of temporary greens on it but apart from that it was in great condition. It gets interesting on the 2nd hole with a sloping fairway to the right, it is probably possible to have a go at reaching this hole in two, but it would need to be two very good shots.

The 4th is a tight drive with O.O.B on the left & trees on the right. After about 6 or 7 holes we noticed the similarity of this courses undulating fairways to those of Chiltern Forest, this course is a good walk.
12th hole
The 12th is a very challenging par 3 & if you get a good drive on the 13th you could be putting for an eagle on the green.
The staff were very friendly, the Clubhouse facilities, particularly the showers were great. Overall we had a good days golf on this fine course.

Favourite Hole

16th holeHole 16:   418 yard par 4.
From the tee it looks as if you need to fade the ball with your drive, but once in the fairway you will soon realise that the best line into the green is actually from the left edge of the fairway. The approach has to be good as well, if you hit it long there is not much chance of stopping your chip back onto the green from rolling straight off the other side.

I'm a junior member at the club and have noticed that you have not updated the web page since the course has been re-designed as there has been many new greens and tee boxes put in. The Clubhouse has had an extension and thee is also a 200 yard driving range, great for warming up before a round. The course is a great test with many tight tee shots and tricky downhill putts. The greens are at a good pace.
