Course Review
Nice 9 hole members club.
This course is certainly not flat but it is not too hilly either. Undulating
tree-lined fairway's and greens with some blind approaches make this course
quite interesting to play. The only criticism of the course we can think
of is that it is a bit short. You can easily get round without using your
woods.
Favourite Hole
Hole
3: 273 yard par 4.
Not a long par 4 by any means but an interesting one. The green is very thin
so if you are going to smack your tee shot to try and reach it then you will
have to be very accurate, because you do not want to miss this green on either
side. The fairway is also very thin so even an iron off the tee means it needs
to be a straight one. Why do you not want to miss the green?
Well, it is a raised green and very thin so if you miss it on either side you
could find yourself chipping on, rolling straight across it and off the other
side. Something Rick did 2 times when we played here.

I played in the rain and it was still a very attractive course with each hole
having a different characteristic to interest you. Some of the holes cross each
other in order to fit the small site and there is barely a flat lie anywhere
so much thought is required. The gently sloping greens were very true.
I played at 8am on a Friday and there was only myself and the pro there.
I am glad I took time and paid my £10 for 9 holes.
