Lavendar Park Golf Club - Est 1979

Good little practice course,
well you're not going to bring your society here but for the beginner
and young golfers this is a good facility. You can practice your long
irons and woods on the driving range then give your short game a good
work out by playing the 9 holes of the course.
Some of the holes are actually quite tight so you do have to be very accurate,
the greens are in very good condition and putting on them was very smooth. The
tee areas are mats but again kept in very good condition, there is even a water
hazard on the 1st and 6th holes.
Favourite Hole
Hole 15: 242 yard Par 4.
The overhanging trees along the fairway make the approach to the green on this
hole quite tight. Stray too far right and your second shot will be over the tree
in front of the green, too far left and you are either in the water or amongst
the willow trees.
