Course Review
We played the red nine hole course first, it was a nice tree-lined course with some good holes. You do have to think of where to put your tee shot on some holes and the greens are very undulating, you could find yourself putting up a slope of 30 degrees or more. We have now played all 3 courses here and they are all in good condition with some interesting holes to negotiate.
The 18 hole course is not very long and you could quite easily leave your woods at home, but it still proves a challenge. The 1st gives quite a wide fairway followed by a short par 3 with no real trouble around the green. The 4th is a par 5 played downhill and gives you a good chance of reaching the green in two. The par 3 that comes next has a pond in front of the green but is quite a way back from the green so should not cause a problem.

- The tee shot at the 5th hole over the pond.
The next couple of par 4's are quite short and give good opportunity for birdies, then comes another short par 3 with no trouble and the tricky 9th. The back nine starts with a long par 3 played into a sloping green that helps your ball stop dead on the green after which are a couple of short par 4's and a medium length par 3.

- View down the 18th fairway that looks quite narrow.
The 15th par 5 is played slightly uphill so is more difficult to reach than the one on the first nine and the tee shot from the last is quite narrow with trees on your right and a ditch down the left that crosses the fairway half way down the hole. The course was in good condition and the bunkers had lovely soft sand in them, unfortunately the shower facilities let the course down at the end.
Favourite Hole
Hole 9: 356 yard par 4 dogleg to the left.

- View of the approach to the 9th green.
Not a long par 4 but position from the tee is the way to go here, trees can block your line to the green with a ditch & pond just before the green. You can miss the green to the right but that is about the only safe place to miss.
